Outlook Rx is a discount program for prescription medications and medical supplies like diabetic test strips and syringes. Members purchase medications at participating pharmacies and receive an average discount of 10% to 50% off the pharmacy’s standard price. The discount will vary depending on type of medication, brand or generic, pharmacy filled at, etc. The Outlook Rx pharmacy network operates in most states. Contractual agreements with over 55,000 chain and independent pharmacies provide members with easy access to our program. The pharmacy network consists of well-known pharmacies such as: Drug Emporium, Eckerd, Kmart, Osco, Revco, Rite Aid, Safeway and Walgreens as well as independent local pharmacies. Approved pharmacies have agreed to dispense drugs to Outlook Rx members at the contracted rate or the standard price, whichever is less. Once the Outlook Rx member fills a prescription at a participating pharmacy, no further paperwork is involved. Payment for prescription medication is made directly to the pharmacist at the best available price (Contracted Rate or standard price.) Members pay the pharmacy directly for all purchases. There are no claim forms, pre-authorizations, approvals, waiting periods, pre-existing exclusions or reimbursements. Dependents are included at no additional cost.

Members that have the Outlook Rx benefit are also entitled to discounts on hearing aids as an added benefit for no additional cost.
